Conferences

CLASS holds an annual summer conference in July concurrent with the Western States Land Commissioners' Association, who are the land managers and trustees. At the conference, delegates learn about the trusts, trust management, trust issues and advocacy. Members participate in a Roll Call of the States where each member state provides an update of activity in their state over the past year, sharing new ideas, challenges, solutions and goals. An orientation is held on the first day of each conference for first-time participants and those who wish a review. Advanced sessions for repeat delegates are also held that day. Conference content is determined by requests of the prior year's participants including presentation of the year's research results.
